Trekking

The itineraries registered by the CAI are:

1 - Le acque / The Water: it winds through the woods and along the slopes of the mountain massif, as the name suggests, it is a path characterized by the numerous water sources that meet along the way; about 30 kilometers, also accessible by car

2 - I tafoni: it crosses the characteristic granite rocks eroded by wind and rain, for about 9 kilometers

3 - La sommità /The top: it starts right next to the hotel, from the Pavari garden with its numerous exotic plant, up to Punta Balistreri, about 12 kilometers

4 - Il collegamento / The connection: path that crosses the woods and some artificial lakes

5 – Attraversamento /The Crossing: this route passes by several ponds allowing the observation of various species of water birds and fish. The path is about 10 kilometers at almost the same altitude

6 - Animali e piante /Animals and plants: real immersion in the flora and fauna of Limbara, from the enclosure of mouflons and fallow deer (intended for the repopulation of the area) up to the water sources.

7 - Versante sud / The South side: a challenging path that starts from the peaks and enters, with often inaccessible stretches, into the various valleys that stretch towards the Berchidda plain, to highlight the crossings at Mount Nieddu and Carraccana
